laundry
I've been searching for the perfect hampers for the house---not too big, not plastic, etc...
I found these, and bought two to put side by side:
Mine actually are a cherry wood color, and I loooove that they have Laundry embroidered on them. Love.
You can find them here!
fringe
I can't get enough of it. I do that with things I like----I'll buy everything fringe, let's say, and then once my closet looks like Frontier Fringe, I'm over it.
Until then, I intend on fringe-ing myself silly.
I got these pups, in black, but the brown shows better the fringe.
I wore these to the Lindberg wedding, and they were a hit :) I danced the fringe off of 'em...
baby brother
How talented are they?!
We got to see their most recent projects! They even included mom and dad in them :) Alex's apartment! I love this picture!!
What a great time we had with you guys, and so proud of you!

around the world
oh, and back to Dallas.
JR played photographer at Jason and Lauren's wedding, so we ended up with 200 after-party pics :) I must sort thru them before I post, they deserve their very own. Here's a brief overview of what a sweet wedding it was.
<>
It was an OU reunion for us, and perfect because it was all of us together again-----what a party it was. Don't even think for a minute that I didn't dance my little fringed feet off....I may have covered every square inch of that place...here's a teaser!
There was an after party, to the after party....yeah. It was that fun.
On Sunday, we got up and headed down to Stillwater to see brother!!! Him and Rachel met us at Eskimo Joe's for lunch first! I told Alex, that is the only town I can go to and not feel compelled ot buy a souvenir :) We did stop at the Wooden Nickel, though...
We finally got to see his oh-so-cute apartment, and he even gave me a treat! An OU treat!! He bought me a handpainted OU Christmas ornament!!! My two very favorite things rolled into one! What a lucky sister I am, to have him as a brother!
I've been working on an OSU painting for him, and finally got it finished----it's on it's way to you today Alex! We had SUCH a wonderful time with you guys! Thank you, thank you for having us over!

delight
I've added it to my playlist below if you're interested....it's my song du jour.
So so pretty.
All this while I enjoy a piece of delicious cheesecake with fresh strawberries.
A glass of Malbec would make this perfect...

his day
It's one of my favorite things to do. Really.
This year, I decided to get JR two treats! Anytime he casually mentions anything he likes, I write it down so I've compiled a list of his "wants" so that when birthdays/holidays/or if I see it while I'm out, I can gift him and surprise him with all of the things he likes!!
One of the treats on his "wish list" was a North Face Denali jacket---they are so so warm and very practical for fall and winter.
Mom and dad gifted him with a leather briefcase/bag that he also has been wanting! Something nice to take to work!!
Then it was my turn for my special gift!!!! I had a book made, documenting our honeymoon, with pictures and memories....it turned out even better than I had imagined!! I'll have to take actual pics of the book to show!! He loved it.
wearing his North Face & reading his new book!!! Presents actually came last, because mom and dad took him out to dinner at La Duni for a delicious dinner and after that headed back to our house for presents and dessert!!
I hope you had a wonderful birthday, babe!

new venture (updated)
After a couple of projects I have kinda, sorta, maybe, not-so-sure, perhaps going to start up my own little side business. It stems from the two paintings (ha) I've done, and a few design projects I've created...
Thus the name of my "sidey" business----Homemade & Handpainted! Unless ofcourse, that name is already taken on Etsy!
Now, I'm just toying around with the idea but I thought I'd share a few of my projects.
this is the invitation Holly asked me to make for Luke's 1st Birthday
