100 miles an hour

That's the pace I'm at right now.

We're supposed to leave for an overseas trip tomorrow, and this sweet face has come down with some sort of tummy bug and has thrown up twice.

I cried my first sad-mommy tears this morning, knowing my baby was hurting. Quite possibly the most helpless and horrible feeling I've ever known.

We've managed to keep down Pedialyte and we see the doctor at 2pm. For now, I've got him laughing with Momma's stinker song---because that's what we do as mommies...make up the silliest of songs that you would be so embarrassed for others to hear you sing.

I smell stinker, yes I do.
I smell stinker, how about YOU?!
on repeat----this will make Bear cackle all the day long.

I promise a Christmas post as soon as we're all healthy again...

BIG XMAS NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is how Hudson Bear reacted when we told him...

we were moving HOME to OKLAHOMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A full explanation later but for now: we were very blessed to come across a wonderful job opportunity for JR that would give us the chance to move home, and just in time for the holidays. We are all set up {surrounded by boxes} in our new home in Soonerland, and DOES IT FEEL GOOD TO BE HOME. I'm so happy, even my bones are happy.

It's the merriest of Christmas's at The Pettijohn house :) Our first one with our most precious tiny, and we get to spend our holidays and EVERYDAY now, at home.

Greetings from Oklahoma y'all.

Boomer.
